Leaving...on a jet plane...!

Today has been one of those nice, relaxing days spent cleaning the house and getting organized and packed for our trip. We're going to Cancun next weekend but we have such a busy week ahead of us that we have to get it all done this weekend.

I put together a "cat manual" for my dear mother who has selflessly agreed to move in and take care of the cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks and... what else is there, oh yes, HOUSE... for us while we're away for two weeks. 

I'm looking forward to being away even though I will miss all my furbabies... I need some time to relax and work on my webpage and photos, etc that I've been collecting but have had no time to sort through.  I love getting up super early in the morning when I'm on vacation with the family - hours before anyone else - so that I can have some time to think and organize things. It's going to be the perfect time to get caught up on everything.
