This boy is just over 2 years of age (DOB: January 23, 2016). He is such a gorgeous boy - he's half brother to our Regional Winning quad grand champion Jewelspride Solo (Awarded 2nd Best Bengal in the TICA North West Region last year). This guy is very flashy and rosetted - this comes from his parents (Majesticpride Phoenix and Majesticpride Topaz). He's not only beautiful on the outside however, he is full of purrs and loves to play and rub up against your legs begging to be pet.
Vader left us as a 12 week old kitten in 2016. His family named him "Vader", short for "Darth Vader", however his breeder slip was never actually used to register him under this name so his new family will have the added advantage of choosing their own name for him.
We have had Vader back with us for about a week now and would like to spend a little more time with him prior to re-homing him. He is eating well, very playful, using his litter box and seems to be doing well, besides the expected confusion about why he is not with his family anymore. There was a bit of change going on in his home, some new people and cats had come to live with the family and while the other bengal in the home was adjusting just fine, Vader was not. The owners made the hard decision to send him back to us for rehoming. They've made it very clear how much he is loved and that they only want the best situation for him which is why they asked me to help.
What we are looking for in a new home for Vader:
We are looking for a home with limited stress - we think Vader might do well with a person who works from home, or a retired couple that spends a lot of time at home to keep him company as he loves to be around you and will follow you around hoping for pets. He seems to like other cats in general and prefers their company to being alone, however we're not sure if he might be adverse to CERTAIN cats and not others? These are the things we need to try to sort out for this boy before subjecting him to another move. He definitely LOVES to cuddle and be pet - he is definitely a "people cat" - this we know for sure. We just need to sort out the cat to cat dynamic for this boy before finding the right home. Maybe he's a dog lover? We don't know. Basically we are hoping to find the right family that will take the time to get to know this lovely boy and help him settle in to their family and give him his final forever home.
If you think you might be interested in adopting Vader, or would like to ask us any specific questions, please send in a kitten application and tell us more about yourself and your family/home situation. When he is a bit more settled in we will allow visits to meet him and we'll choose the best fit.
